Neon Bib Necklace

After crocheting so many minions, I decided to take a break and look for something new to make! Was surfing online and found this from A Common Thread -

Looks simple and quick enough to make, so I decided to give it a shot.

Went to Spotlight and got myself this beautiful neon yellow/green 100% acrylic yarn from Thorobred to start on this project.

You will need to make 3 bibs of different sizes for this necklace.

Two down, one to go. They will be slightly different in size and length to create a layered effect.

Here comes my least favourite part, sewing the pieces together. I am really bad at embroidery.

And ta-daaa! All three pieces together. Not the most perfect positioning but I am quite happy.

I got my sister, who is quite good at making accessories, to attach the chain to the completed bib. And it’s done!

I have worn it out a few times and it goes pretty well with dark clothes (duh!). It’s the probably the most eye-catching accessory I have yet. Perhaps I should make one in black for a more sophisticated look. What do you think?
