I have never quite believed in the impact of the self-fulfilling prophecy until recently. It is amazing how certain things can manifest itself to become much worst than it is actually is.
And this has certainly brought out the worst in me as well. I have been pretty mean to a particular someone because of some negative experiences. And I am amazed at how fast my impression of that person is rolling downhill. I can almost find fault in every single word and action that the person speaks or does.
Pretty terrible isn’t it.
I am hoping that I would get out of this mode fast. I am not too sure what would happen if this continues. I may blurt out some unpleasant stuff, get myself in deep trouble and feel guilty towards that person for the rest of my life.
Need to learn self-control fast! Sounds like I need to call True Yoga to redeem the complimentary class soon. (P/S: thank you for the recommendation, Joo…)
Anyways.
SIXTEEEN 16 十六 more weeks to the end of the internship! Time flies, no matter how cliché it sounds.
I am beginning to feel that I may miss my current internship organisation when I leave in 16 weeks’ time. I have no idea why I would feel this way. Let’s see how it would turn out on 15 June 07.
On another note, I think I am ready to put aside my lofty dreams and ambitions, and settle for a more practical and realistic lifestyle/job. It is like a sudden revelation. I think it is for the best anyway.
